Today is a very rainy day, though the month of August is a rainy season here in our country (Philippines) I felt a bit cold today. While lying down, my friend txt me with an informative message…It goes like this:
Save your EARS
when you try to call someone through mobile,
don’t put your mobile closer to your ears until the recipient answers.
Because directly after dialing, the cell phone will uses its maximum signaling power
i.e 2wats= 33dbi.
SAVE YOUR BRAIN
Use your left ear when calling.
Studies have shown that using your right ear directly effect the brain.
Also, never put your cell phone near you when you sleep.
It can trigger brain cancer…
Wheew!!! I’m a cell phone user my self in fact not even a single day pass that I couldn’t use my cell phone and I am quite alarmed about this stuff. Next time I will be very careful. I know that you are alarmed too. Knowing the fact that almost all of us do have one of this things since cell phone now a days are necessities.. All I can say to all the bloggers and readers out there, save your life. Don’t put your life at risk… You have a choice!
Well, well you’re right Shang! Nobody wants to be blind for his or her whole life. Just imagine if you can’t see just because you can’t quit SMOKING! “Blindness” is said to be the newer effect of cigarette smoking. With that, start QUITTING now!
The effects of smoking will vary from person to person and depend on such things as number of cigarettes per day; the age of the person began smoking, and the number of years of smoking. But major effects are the following:
- The mixture of nicotine and carbon monoxide in each cigarette you smoke temporarily increases your heart rate and blood pressure, straining your heart and blood vessels.
- Tobacco smoke also contributes to a number of cancers.
- This can cause heart attacks and stroke. It slows your blood flow, cutting off oxygen to your feet and hands. Some smokers end up having their limbs
- amputated.
- Carbon monoxide robs your muscles, brain and body tissue of oxygen, making your whole body and especially your heart work harder. Over time, your airways swell up and let less air into your lungs.
- Smokers have an increased risk of developing:
1. respiratory infections such as pneumonia and chronic bronchitis;
2. emphysema (a progressive and potentially fatal lung disease);
3. heart attack and coronary disease;
4. cancer of the lung, throat, mouth, bladder, kidney, pancreas, cervix, stomach;
5. stomach ulcers; and
6. peripheral vascular disease due to decreased blood flow to the legs.
So, QUIT NOW! This is your challenge. Once you quit, then you will gain benefits. Benefit of believing yourself and once you’ve quit, you will know you can succeed at controlling your life. Another thing also is when you give up smoking; it’s like getting a pay rise as much as 8,000 Php a year if you smoke 20 cigarettes a day. (i.e. if price of each cigarette is only 1.00 Php)
Here’s the "BUT", HOW to start Quitting? Any, tips?
How about you shang?
Part of my daily night routine is to watch TV Patrol news. As I was lying in my bed and almost fall down to sleep, the thing that captures my attention is about the hazard of smoking. Well, everyone knows that smoking is too bad for the health not just for the smoker itself but also to those who inhaled the smoke. It’s been pointed out to the televiewers that there are newer effects of the smoke to our body. Guess what? It is a loss of your vision. That’s right! Nobody wants to be blind. It can bring a great effect to one’s life if you cannot see. Am I right? Smoking really is very dangerous to one’s health. Why? Because we all know that the smoke itself releases is very toxic chemical. It can really damage our system one by one. It can cause disease such as bronchitis, heart disease, cancer and a whole lot more. So if I were you STOP SMOKING. I know it’s hard to do. But if you quit smoking, believe me; you have nothing to lose but a whole lot to gain. If you don’t, then you sentence your life to DEATH!
Here’s the Picture of my son suffering from it..
Can you imagine of having a what we called seizures? Or do you have a family member having this kind of illness? Well I do have one. In fact he’s none other than but my eldest son. He was still one and a half years old when it began attacking him. It is always associated with a very high fever usually with the temperature rising rapidly to 102° Fahrenheit (38.9° Celsius) or more. Convulsion or seizures as what I had known is a sudden lack of oxygen of the brain that’s why when you see a person or a child who suffered like this, you can see that their muscles are uncontrollable. Their lips are blue and it seems that they may die. Oh God! How can I forget every time my son suffered like this? I must admit I lost sleep every time he had fever. It really frightens me a lot. All I did is to give him a sponge bath so that his body will be cold for at least a single moment. But when me and my husband brought him to the hospital, the doctor give us an anti-convulsant. Every day I gave him the said drugs but to my surprise, well the doctor warns me already, but he’s been really hyperactive. His pediatrician did tell us that there is only one side effect of the said drug, and it is his uncontrollable actions. Up to now his been taking it and right now he is turning 4. Well at least I am no longer worried but eventually not yet happy because I still have 3 years left to stop the drugs. Why? It’s because when your child got seizures due to high fever it takes normally 7 years to eliminate it… How sad….
